Peterborough United yougsters Tom Conlon and Michael Richens turned their loan moves to League Two side Stevenage into permanent transfers yesterday (January 6).
Midfielder Conlon (18) has made six appearances for Stevenage - four as a substitute - in a loan spell that started in September. He made just three substitute appearances for Posh, most recently on the final day of the League One season last May.
Right-back Richens (19) joined Stevenage at the same time as Conlon. He’s started two matches for his new club, but hasn’t made an appearance since the end of September. Richens didn’t play at all for the Posh first team.
Goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik joined League Two side York City on loan until the end of the season earlier this week. Striker Tyrone Barnett and centre-back Shaun Brisley are others who could leave London Road during the January transfer window.
