Peterborough United manager Graham Westley has blasted out a warning to the rest of League One.
Westley was thrilled with his side’s 4-0 win over Doncaster last weekend (October 24).
They delivered a display full of entertaining, attacking football against a team managed by the most successful Posh boss of all-time, Darren Ferguson.
But Westley insists the best is still yet to come from his young and improving side.
“We were very good against Doncaster, but we can get even better,” Westley said.
“Improvement is continuous so why put a limit on it?
“We are in a very good place at the moment. The players are happy and they say they are feeling very sharp.
“Our aim is to keep improving week by week and game by game.
“If we can manage that we can become a top side in this division.”
Posh have won four and lost two of their seven League One matches under Westley.
They are 10th, three points outside the play-off places, but face a tough test of their promotion credentials at fourth-placed Coventry tomorrow (October 31).
