Peterborough United have today (November 24) signed central defender Miles Addison and striker Martin Samuelsen.

Former Derby County defender Addison (26) has been training with Posh for a couple of weeks. He played in a recent trial game at Birmingham and has signed a one-month deal.

Norwegian Samuelsen (18) is on loan from West Ham until January.

Addison was highly-rated when he burst on the scene with Derby. He scored for ‘the Rams’ against Posh on the opening day of the 2009-10 Championship season.

Addison moved to Bournemouth in 2012 and finished last season on loan at Blackpool. He has made 143 senior appearances and scored six goals.

Addison was released by Bournemouth at the end of last season and he has been without a club since.

Addison starts tonight’s League One match at home to Barnsley as Posh are without four senior central defenders. Gaby Zakuani and Shaun Brisley are injured, while Jack Baldwin and Ricardo Santos are suspended.

Samuelsen is on the substitutes’ bench this evening. He has played twice for the West Ham first team, in Europa League qualifying matches earlier this year.
