St Neots will host some Posh under 23 matches next season, but it’s the link between the Posh Academy and St Neots’ Elite Football Scholarship which excites the clubs the most.

Iain Parr, Director of Football at St Neots Town FC said: “I am excited to announce our partnership with Peterborough Utd Football Club to help develop and educate 16-19 year old footballers within a full time football and education programme. This is an excellent opportunity for both clubs to help talented footballers achieve their goals on the football pitch whilst gaining valuable life skills and qualifications.”

Posh Academy manager Nick Sheppard said: “The Elite Football Scholarship is one of the best set ups outside of the EFL Academies and with our coaches working on the programme it will enable us to have the best opportunities to find any players who are late developers.”

There is a recruitment day for potential scholars at St Neots FC on Friday, December 22.
