The aim of Free Kicks Day is to raise funds and awareness of our charity and we have many exciting ideas and activities that we are putting into place ahead of the day.

From today (December 13) a ‘12 Days of Free Kicks’ countdown will begin. There will be a daily announcement of things that are planned and how all Posh fans can get involved.

Steve Thorpe from Free Kicks said “We are hugely grateful to Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony and everybody at the club for making this happen. The support we have received from him, his staff and the players has been incredible and we appreciate everything they have done for us.

“We are looking forward to the day and hope to get as many people involved as possible, in order to make it as successful as possible. All money raised on the day will be used to arrange days out at football matches for local disadvantaged children”.

MacAnthony added: “I have worked closely both personally and as chairman of the football club with the Free Kicks Foundation and have seen first-hand the impact that they make on youngsters’ lives. They have a number of exciting plans for the game with Doncaster Rovers and I hope that it proves to be a hugely successful day.”
