Peterborough United striker Lee Angol has today (March 6) joined National League leaders Lincoln City on loan until the end of the season.
Angol (22) has struggled to make an impact with Posh this season after breaking his ankle in the first pre-season friendly of the summer at Boston United.
He’s scored just one goal - in the Boxing Day draw with Gillingham at the ABAX Stadium - during the current campaign after netting 11 goals in his first season as a Football League regular.
Angol could make his Lincoln debut in a league game at Braintree tomorrow (March 7).
He played for Posh in the FA Cup so can’t be involved in Lincoln’s forthcoming quarter-final at Arsenal.
