And Posh manager Graham Westley has confirmed more of his players are attracting interest from clubs in the top two divisions in England.

And Premier League Bournemouth have a long-standing interest in Posh central defender Jack Baldwin, who has made an outstanding return from long-term injury.

Westley remains calm even though his promotion-chasing squad is threatened with further departures.

A £3 million price tag was placed on Forrester by chairman Darragh MacAnthony earlier this month.

Maddison and Baldwin would cost a little less. The former has struggled to break into the Posh starting line-up in recent games, while the latter is only three games into his recovery from a 14-month absence through injury.
