POSH REACTION: Great defensive effort ruined by a late blunder

Posh survived at 0-0 with a man down for 50 minutes until an injury-time header somehow squirmed past Ben Alnwick.

Ben Alnwick: A second superb display in a row from the keeper. Many good saves, some excellent handling. One brilliant stop from a corner, but then a last-minute slip to concede the winner 8

Jack Baldwin: Excellent effort at right-back against the dangerous Hammill. Tackled well, blocked well 8

Andrew Fox: Sound job against a side with decent attackers. Not much chance to get forward 7

Ricado Santos: Much more sensible to play the big man at centre-back. Dominant and safe 7

Michael Bostwick: Some great clearing headers from the centre of defence in the first half. followed by a strong midfield effort after the break 8

Chris Forrester: Was playing steadily until irritating the referee and getting sent off just before the interval 5

Harry Beautyman: Worked hard in midfield, Not seen on the ball much 6

Jon Taylor: Pace was handy to relieve some of the pressure on the Posh back four 6
