POSH NEWS: MacAnthony wants to meet '˜dispirited' Peterborough United season ticket holders at coffee morning

MacAnthony, a highly-skilled professional salesman, is inviting the 900 2015-16 season ticket holders, who have yet to renew for the 2016-17 campaign, to meet him face-to-face and discuss the issues preventing their return to watch Posh in League One again next season.

MacAnthony made the offer on Twitter (@DMAC102) following Posh’s 4-1 win at Colchester yesterday (April 16), a result that confirmed Posh’s status as a League One club for a fourth straight season.

MacAnthony said: “Regards to the seaon ticket holders still on the fence about renewing, come see me at ground next Sunday for a cup of tea/sandwiches and share your frustrations face to face with me. And if still feel that way, then fair enough. I’ll work all day and see dispirited fans personally from 9.30am onwards.

“There are 900 season ticket holders holding out, who the club will contact this week to come see me face to face next Sunday. I’m up for it. Good or bad etc. Come see me next Sunday at the club where I’ll personally convince you. All those not sold on season tickets are welcome.”

Anyone interested can book an appointment through @Chrisbrewer82 and chris,[email protected]. Fans will be seen in groups at 30 minute intervals.

Posh are the top scorers in League One with 73 goals in 42 games this season. They face League One matches with local rivals Northampton and MK Dons next season.

Posh have sold in excess of 3,000 season tickets for next season. They can be purchased from www.theposhtickets.com.
