POSH LATEST: Chairman so pleased with season ticket sales he's extended the discount period
Peterborough United have sold over 3,000 season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign.
And chairman Darragh MacAnthony is so pleased by the figure - most season tickets have been purchased during a poor run of Posh form - he’s extended the ‘early bird’ discount period.
Posh sales are well ahead of this time last year.
MacAnthony said: “Due to the fans being brilliant through a poor period, prior to three wins, and the fact season tickets are miles ahead of last year, I’d like to repay this by keeping the early bird period open for all those who book online till Monday (April 4) at midnight!
“I’m amazed at the season ticket sales and I’m very appreciative.”
