Westley has come under fire from some fans after a miserable run of form which sent Posh plummeting down the League One table.

Last Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Port Vale - Posh led 2-0 at half-time - has left Westley’s men eight points clear of the relegation zone ahead of a crunch game at Darren Ferguson’s struggling Doncaster side this Saturday (March 19).

But current Posh skipper Jack Baldwin said: “The manager is a positive guy. He wants the best for the club and he’s working hard with the players to achieve it.

“If we take his positivity and his constructive criticism on board we will soon be back to winning ways and playing the sort of football we love and enjoy.

“The manager is a winner and he will get the best out of the players. If everyone does their bit there is no end to where we can go.”

Westley, speaking after the Vale defeat said: “It’s obvious the players are desperate to win games for the club, the fans and for me.”

It’s all-ticket for Posh fans at Doncaster and they must be purchased before Saturday. Prices have been slashed to £10 for adults with even lower prices available for concessions.
