Ricky-Jade Jones is close to a Peterborough United return and there’s better news on Jack Marriott
Teenage Peterborough United striker Ricky Jade-Jones is 10 days away from a return to action.
The 18 year-old damaged knee ligaments in a 4-0 Carabao Cup defeat at home to Plymouth Argyle in August, but he could be back after the international break at Stoke City on November 20.
The games against Swansea (October 30), Huddersfield (November 2) and Fulham (November 6) will come too soon for Jones.
And there was better news on summer signing Jack Marriott. He tore a hamstring at Reading in September and it was thought he could miss most of the season. It’s now though Marriott could be back at the end of January.
