It was a success based on determination rather than domination of the game, but Posh did score two tremendous goals to win 2-1 for the second successive season at the MKM Stadium.
Ratings key: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very poor.
5. NATHAN THOMPSON
Unless he was playing to orders, he seemed to find the positional side of the wingback role a problem. The Hull goal came from the side patrolled by Knight and Thompson. Great attitude as ever though and played better when shifted to a centre-back role. Looked good going forward on occasion 6.5
6. DAN BUTLER
Found space easy to come by in the first-half, but keeping the ball was more of a problem and once it was lost he struggled to get back into position. Struggled to keep tabs on Wilks in the second half and conceced a blatant penalty. He was immediately hauled off. 5
7. OLIVER NORBURN
He was tentative in possession early on and gave the ball away on the edge of his own area in one desperate moment. Improved as the game wore on and worked hard throughout 6.
8. JACK TAYLOR
The need to get him into more advanced positions was confirmed by a superb 20-yard goal which led to a much better and more positive performance 7.
