Peterborough United suffer an injury blow

Peterborough United defender Nathan Thompson will miss the next three League One matches.

The hamstring issue that forced the 30 year-old out of the FA Cup win at Oxford before half-time last weekend has not healed so Thompson will miss the match at Crewe on Saturday (November 14) and the home games against Blackpool (November 21) and Plymouth Argyle (November 24).

Niall Mason will replace Thompson if Posh stick with a back four at Crewe, but if they play with three centre-backs teenager Ronnie Edwards and left-sided defender Frazer Blake-Tracy will come into contention.
