That’s the view of Peterborough Telegraph reader Trevor Moores who is based in New York.

Here are the latest views from Posh fans on the ongoing EFL saga, and the Posh players have also been getting involved on social media.

Have I gone mad, or is the rest of the world bonkers?

It is not surprising the season is likely to end early, given the current crisis, but I did an analysis of the difference in the weighted and unweighted PPG scoring, and the only substantive difference is whether Peterborough or Portsmouth make the play-offs. So why don’t we have a preliminary play-off between Peterborough and Portsmouth with the winner joining Wycombe, Oxford, and Fleetwood in the play-offs? For the sake of one extra game, the debate between which method is fairer is solved.

The Wycombe plan is absolutely mind boggling. They expect to end the season now and then be able to compete in the play-offs.That absolutely stinks of double standards.

@GregStan83

Wycombe’s strategy should read: ‘we want to play, but only if we know we have a chance of making £6m from promotion.’

@JeffriesTom

Any team that votes to curtail should not play again this season including play-offs!

The EFL’s lack of leadership is precisely why they are the ones who should be facing the inevitable music. Governance in any unique situation should come from the top down.

@Paul_Cyclops

The lack of leadership from the EFL comes across as a way of avoiding liability. No way would I ask Posh for a refund, but if a class action against the clubs who vote to void the season started I would sign up.

@GrazzaHope

Mayhem created by a complete lack of EFL leadership. This is becoming a free-for-all and the EFL is fast losing credibility for not getting a grip on events.

@trustchairman

Several clubs want to play on, lots of talk of ‘integrity’ from

Oxford, Tranmere, Posh, but I’ve not seen anyone discuss the integrity of a League One game played behind closed doors between a team who wants to play and one that doesn’t.

@coughcat

I would say Wycombe’s strategy involves banking on the play-offs not being possible, therefore promoting them as the team in third.

@DaleMeachen.

ALL clubs will vote in their own best interests.

@d4vejf

Sending a club down that doesn’t deserve it isn’t what AFC Wimbledon should be about. If they were in the play-offs would health and money be an obstacle? It’s a horrible situation we’re all in, but the

EFL have created a mess where even AFCWimbledon has lost its soul. They wouldn’t have survived if this crisis had happened last season. Such a sad day

Let’s hope the right decision can be made and we get back to playing football safely! Pick up where we left off and get our club promoted.

@FrazerBlake4

Fingers crossed and let’s hope the right decision is made so all our hard work isn’t wasted and we can finish off the season.

@ivantoney24

Really hope the decision goes our way and the season resumes I’ve loved every minute since joining the club and hope we can finish it off with the form we showed before this all happened.
