Peterborough United old boys: Toney off the mark for Brentford, McCann riding high, Martin struggling at MK, goals for Gwion, Taylor and even Tom Nichols

Toney won and converted a first-half penalty as Brentford came from behind to draw 1-1 at Millwall in a London derby in the Championship.

Grant McCann has steered Hull City to three straight wins in League One. The Tigers won 2-0 at Northampton Town yesterday and are second behind Ipswich Town on goal difference.

Doncaster Rovers have started the season well and thumped Bristol Rovers 4-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium. Jon Taylor scored the final goal after contributing two assists.

It’s been a tough start for Russell Martin, the manager of MK Dons. His side lost 2-0 at Crewe yesterday - a club record 15th away game without a win for winless MK.
