Peterborough United need to keep their standards high against the shot-shy Shrews
Kent was keen to point out that fabulous League One wins at Wigan and Hull - two clubs relegated from the Championship last season - didn’t automatically mean lowly Burton and Shrewsbury would immediately be brushed aside at the Weston Homes Stadium.
Instead Burton pushed Posh all the way to force a 2-2 draw and came close to winning for just the second time this season which should serve as a warning for Saturday’s (October 31) game against a Shrews team struggling to win a game or score a goal.

“We must carry on doing what we’ve been doing and never let our standards slip.
“We went on a great run last season and we’ve done the same this season, but the games are coming around so quickly now there is no chance to switch off and take a break.
“I try and clear my head and relax between games, but it isn’t easy when it’s so busy.

“The feeling around the place is really good.”
Kent has been part of a defence that was on a good run before Burton caused them plenty of problems on Tuesday night.
Posh have conceded eight goals in their first nine League One matches and recently enjoyed a run of three successive clean sheets.
“Us defenders love a gritty 1-0 win like the one at Wigan,” Kent added.

“We’ve defended well as a team and individually.”
The stats since Posh switched to a flat back four in the second-half of the 3-1 home win over Swindon suggest that defending has been more difficult.
Opponents have had over 11 shots on goal against a Posh back four compared to just over seven shots a game when a three centre-back formation was employed.
It’s a very small sample though and it’s unlikely manager Darren Ferguson will change formation for the visit of a Shrewsbury team who place organisation above flair.
