Donna McGuigan’s penalty and a Hannah Pendred strike saw Posh 2-0 up at the break before Annie Posnett replied for Whittlesey with a terrific individual goal.

Both sides then hit the crossbar before Molly Orr-Love sealed the win for Posh in front of a crowd in excess of 200.

They will play in the Cambs Womens and Girls League, two divisions below Posh.
