Peterborough United have one of the toughest sets of December fixtures
Posh have the second hardest set of fixtures of any club in the current top 10, according to research done by the Sunderland Echo.
The Echo took the current league standing of every team set to face Posh and their rivals over the next month, and calculated an average to find the strength of the December opposition.

Hide AdPosh have seven opponents in the next month. They are AFC Wimbledon (12th), Portsmouth (5th), Rochdale (20th), MK Dons (18th), Ipswich (6th), Gillingham (13th) and Charlton (3rd) which is an average league position of 11th.
That’s the second hardest run of December fixtures for a top 10 side after Portsmouth. Lincoln have the easiest programme (average opponent position 16.43) using this method.
Sunderland, who yesterday parted company with manager Phil Parkinson, have three of their next five fixtures against teams currently in the relegation zone.
It doesn’t get easier for Posh at the start of January as their first two opponents are Doncaster, who are currently 10th, and fourth-placed Lincoln.
