Peterborough United fans: ‘Drop JCH, Szmodics, Butler, Mason and Brown, and play the kids after getting outplayed for the second week running by a lowly team’

1) Couldn’t play out from the back because played too slow, 2) Too cautious and not enough energy in midfield, 3) Far too many touches for Pym.

Hide AdGive the youths a chance - is it ‘Rolt’? The striker that was our highest pre-season score? I’d rather see him over JCH or Eisa! More youthful midfield and drop Beavers for Edwards. There, I’ve said it! Try it - it can’t be any worse than enduring the last two games!
@Gregsta73
Have to play Blake-Tracey further up the pitch with Dembele playing wide right. Just shows the lack of depth we have in wide areas. Flat back four a must and stop all the messing about at the back.

My team for Tuesday: Pym, Beevers, Kent, Reed, Butler, Broom, Taylor, Szmodics, Rolt, Kanu, Dembele.
@Poshcricketer
Your player ratings were more than fair.
@capper_mike
Literally I’d play anyone instead of Clarke-Harris.

Tuesday team: Pym, Ward, Kent, Beevers, Butler: Broom, Taylor, Hamilton, Dembele: JCH, Eisa. Need to get Taylor further forward and get a supply into the forwards from higher up the pitch. Currently playing route one!!

Hide AdIt’s the same old, same old with Posh, I know it’s only a few games, but we could suggest anything and it won’t change. They have it in their locker, it’s just finding the right rhythm and person to release that.
@ASkan34Luke
If there was ever a time to give youth a chance it’s surely now? For me Kanu for Ward, FBT for Butler, Ronnie Edwards for Mason. Plus I’d like to see Eisa with Szmodics as it just isn’t clicking with Clarke-Harris. Finally we need a ball winner so Hamilton for Brown and use Harrison Burrows as an impact sub.

Plenty of changes needed.
@kevincook77
Eisa for Szmodics and FBT for Mason if Thompson isn’t back.
@ohglmg_rmg
It was a poor performance. No question. We just need to find a way of breaking teams down that contain us, and be able to change it up mid-game. Confident Fergie will fix it and we’ll be back to winning ways Tuesday.

Usual winter alarms ringing now. Outplayed for the second week running by a lowly team. No creativity, no energy, no spirit. No real signs of anything better to come. Difficult November/December beckoning.
