Peterborough United fans: ‘Butler serves up a man-of-the-match display, Brown is getting better and better, but the whole team was professional and disciplined’

Butler capped a strong performance with a stunning goal.

Posh fans told @PTAlanSwann on Twitter their thoughts on the match and took the opportunity to nominate a man-of-the-match.

Travelling on the day of the match seems to suit this team. Another professional away performance capped with two goal of the season contenders. MOM Brown. Ran the midfield superbly.

Very professional display all around from The Posh. MoM Dan Butler.

@milanvanco1

MOM Butler, solid performance all-round. Rest some players for the FA Cup game. Without fans it’s not the FA Cup. Saturday, Tuesday is tough going with heavy pitches coming up.

@theperkins

Solid, disciplined tactical win. Butler MOM ahead of Brown. Would have gave it him without the goal. That was just a well earned bonus.

@poshbox8

Very professional performance from start to finish. Best performance of the season for me. MOM Dan Butler, hands down the best player on the pitch.

@juppy95

Impressive, comfortable win. MOM Reece Brown.

Thoroughly professional performance capped by two excellent goals. MOM Reece Brown, unsung and underrated but knitted everything together tonight and was everywhere.

@rephotographyYT

Thought Frankie Kent was MOM. Didn’t let Bristol have a sniff all game. Even the one time they got through on goal at the end he did just enough to put the striker off so he couldn’t get a powerful shot in.
