Peterborough United could take a player off the transfer list if he agrees to a paycut and League Two clubs are chasing a Posh number 10

Midfielder Louis Reed, full-back Jason Naismith and club legend George Boyd are the players currently on the transfer list.

Reed has featured in two Posh matchday squads this season and has impressed manager Darren Ferguson with his attitude since being told he could leave.

MacAnthony also disclosed in the latest edition of his popular ‘Hard Truth’ podcast that League Two clubs are trying to take a ‘creative number 10 type’ player, believed to be Serhat Tasdemir, on loan.

“We have a player who has been attracting interest from a couple of League Two clubs,” MacAnthony revealed.

“He’s a creative number 10 type full of flair who would score 10 goals and claim 10 assists in his sleep at that level.

“We’d love him to go out on loan and play 40 League Two matches to aid his development, but the clubs involved need to get real.

“He’s a £900 a week player and they’re trying to get him for £300 a week.

“If a club has good strikers this player would help them score. He would make a club tick.

“We have three players we are trying to move on permanently, but we might invite one of them back into the salary cap squad.

“He’s need to take a paycut so we will see if playing football is more important than a few extra quid to him.”
