Key Events

  • Co-owners Darragh MacAnthony, Dr Jason Neale and Stewart Thompson in attendance
  • New stadium plans expected to crop up
  • Expect questions on potential sales and signings
  • Taking place in front of a sellout crowd in the Caroline Hand Executive Suite

Stadium back on the agenda. Important 60 days coming with decisions to be made. Ben Jones will update it all online later. Adi Mowles is also back. Is there a back-up venue if the Embankment site falls through? No is the simple answer. All ugly compared to plan A.

CEO question now. 240 applicants down to 15 now. Good array of talent. They tried to persuade Bob Symns to stay. January 2 appointment likely.

Randy on Covid. I used to be aggressive and fearless in the office. Went to 30 countries in two years. Stopped travelling because of Covid and now much more empathy with staff.

Most satisfying moment of last 18 months during Covid has turned a bit surreal. Jason has found a new best friend, a puppy. Darragh is grateful to live in Florida and become closer to his families. Promotion took a lot out of him emotionally and physically. If vaccine passports come in Darragh will ask partners to buy him out. He didn’t go to Swansea because of that.

Bob Symns still involved at club. Working on safe standing among other things.

London Road terrace fan. What will happen to it if still in Championship? Could be closed for a few months as it’s a 7-figure redevelopment. Won’t be allowed to use it next season. Million quid is just to take the terrace out! Crikey.

Subscription type news service for youths, women, under 23s, etc is planned. You can then watch those games.

When we will see the under 23s in action for the first team? That level too easy for Kyle Barker says Darragh. Couple o gems to be signed in next couple of weeks including someone who reminds him of Dwight Gayle....

Jason loves Fergie’s commitment to youth development. Randy loves the culture here and manager is big part of it. Not a vote of confidence headline says Darragh. hmmmmm

Fan re Fergie and Barnsley sacking. Darragh says if the worst happened who’s the best man to get us back up?
