LIVE BLOG: Hull vs Posh

Key Events

  • 2-1 Posh FT
  • Posh hoping to avoid 7th consecutive away league defeat
  • Posh expected to stick with three at the back formation
  • Jonson Clarke-Harris serving the third of his four-match suspension
  • Hull have failed to score in 8 of their 12 league games

Both look ok and we are back underway. Ferguson needs to have picked them up after what would have seen such a disappointing blow to concede.

Clash of heads between Thompson and Elder. Both down at the moment.

Posh couldn’t even hold out the few minutes until half-time. Thompson caught out of position on the right Potter is in behind and has all the time he wants to put a ball into the centre and he finds Magennis all on his own to head home from about two yards. Where was the marking?

What a hit from Jack Taylor. Short corner Grant and Dembele play a 1-2 and then Grant sprays it out to Taylor who is in all kinds of space on the edge of the box. It’s an exquisite first time shot into the top right corner.

That looked a half decent penalty shout. Confusion in the Posh box after they are caught on the break again following a poor low cross from Butler. It’s headed down and Magennis looks to pick up in the box but as he stretches out so does Cornell. He tries to round the keeper but ends up on the floor. Honeyman nearly scores with the loose ball anyway but flashes the ball across the face from a tight angle on the left.
