Sammie Szmodics was set to start but Jonson Clarke-Harris has become available after Posh appealed his four game ban for historic tweets.

Posh go in search of their first ever victory at The Ricoh Arena and will have to upset the odds to do it given Coventry are flying high in fourth place and haven’t lost a home league game all season.

Posh caught too far upfeild and Coventry spring a wide attack again, this time Hyam goes to the back post, Gyokeres gets it back across but there is noone there and Butler, who was out of position originally, calmly chests down and clears.

53 mins OFF THE LINE

Wow, Coventry go close from the free-kick. Hamer’s ball to the backpost is headed across goal by Hyam and its Gyokeres it falls to, he pokes towards goal but there is JCH on the line to get his body in the way.

Gyokeres pops up on the left this time causing problems for Poku and Thompson Poku ends tripping him from behind right on the edge of the box.

Coventry hit straight back and get in behind themselves after a good through-ball from O’Hare finds Gyokeres on the right, the angle is tough and he can only flash a shot across the face of the goal and well wide.

Excellent first involvement for Poku, driving run on the right, where Ward was. Tackled as he looks to cross but there is Dembele all on his own, slips when he takes his shot. Frustrating.

Posh start bright, a good run into the box from Dembele, crowded out by Hyam and Kane.

Before the second half gets underway Poku has come on for Ward. Assume an injury. League debut for Posh.
