Posh go in search of their first ever victory at The Ricoh Arena and will have to upset the odds to do it given Coventry are flying high in fourth place and haven’t lost a home league game all season.

  • 3-0 Coventry FT
  • Clarke-Harris available again after club appeal ban
  • Posh still looking for first away point of the season
  • Coventry sit 4th with 100% home record
  • Matt Godden likely to feature for Coventry

Some light relief as Thompson goes on a rampaging run from his own half right to the edge of the Coventry box, even the home fans are shouting shoot. It rather dribbles into the keeper’s hands though.

Coventry flick the switch and get back on the front foot, Waghorn pops up above Edwards, turns his man but Coventry cleans up.

Burrows for Grant. Posh go to three at the back.

The game is just settling back down after a frenetic spell. Coventry look to be easing off a tad but Posh look rattled and can’t string a couple of passes together.

Coventry replaces Taylor

Big deflection helps this one into the goal. Gyokeres finds space in the box, jinks one way and then the other before shooting into the bottom right corner, Kent dives to block but deflects the ball over Cornell and into the back of the net.

Gyokeres

Gyokeres scores a simple tap in after drifting away from both centre-backs. Butler nowhere again for Kane’s cross. 5th time this season Posh have let in 2 goals in less than five minutes on the road.

Again

Absoloutely crazy. That’s been coming. Posh have been getting caught on the break all half and it's cost them a goal. Coventry break once again, Gyokeres feeds Maatsen out wide, he crosses into the box to Hamer, he shoots and Ronnie Edwards is the man to clear off the line this time but it goes straight back to him and he scores at the second time of asking.
