Norburn gifts the ball away under no pressure in the centre of the park. Most of the Posh side pushed upfront and Diaz ran half the length of the pitch and smashed home past Cornell as he came off his line. Pathetic.

Good block from Butler as Dolan shoots on the turn. The ball was flicked over the head of Thompson as he pushed out and crossed in by Lenihan. Blackburn seemed to have stirred a bit after the Posh bright start.

Posh have come flying out this half. Yet another chance, JCH if fed on the left of the box by Burrows, he looks to find sapce for a shot, decides against it but it looks like he can find Taylor to his right, the pass is poor though and the defender intercepts. Three openings so early in the half.

CHANCE AGAIN. Szmiducs slipped in behind the defence after interplay from Clarke-Harris and Dembele He arches his run to get round the defender and rather telegraphs where the ball is going to go and as he tries to put it to Kaminski’s left. The keeper makes a comfortable save well out of his 6-yard box.

Blackburn switch off, great ball in from Ward. Bounces one and JCH tires to slide and put it in but Wharton gets there first. Posh recycle the ball and put it back in from the left. JCH gets to it this time, a few yards out but the ball hits him and ricohets will wide.

Diaz pushes past Edwards just inside the box, looks his cross over everyone though. Blackburn have started on the frontfoot. Posh need to restore some pride.
