Peterborough United are well placed for the start of the 2020/21 League One campaign in the middle of September. Darren Ferguson and his team have already returned to pre-season training, eight weeks before the league commences.
Normally players would return six weeks before but Ferguson is keen to put his team through their paces for longer with friendlies lined up as it will be six months between competitive games when they do return.
