Jack Taylor and Dan Butler scored the goals, and beauties they were too, but there were many fine individual displays in what manager Darren Ferguson described as an ‘outstanding team performance.’

NATHAN THOMPSON: Some fine link-up play with Joe Ward down the right. Defensively strong and wins so many free-kicks to relieve pressure. 7

DAN BUTLER: He was playing well even before he smashed his first goal of the season into the top corner. Defensively strong with good tackling and several interceptions. His block in the second minute was as important as his goal. Powered forward impressively at times 9

FRANKIE KENT: Playing to a very high standard, winning headers and making tackles, while reading the game expertly. Got his head on a lot of crosses tonight. Brings the ball out of defence with great skill. 8
