Hide AdDan Butler: Took an early booking for fouling dangerman Jordan Clark, but went on to play very solidly. Suits the wingback role. 7
Jack Taylor: Looked good in possession early on, but got bogged down in a busy midfield area. He can play and he can mix it 7
Reece Brown: He’s very accurate with his passing, but there’s more to come offensively for sure 7
Sammie Szmodics: Busy and exciting. He doesn’t stop running, struck his shot for the goal well, but it was deflected home. Substituted to keep him fresh for the weekend 7

Hide AdIvan Toney: Didn’t get in the game in the first-half, but he was effective in the second-half. Very unselfishly gave Ward a goal on a plate 7
Siriki Dembele: Superb run for the first goal and he looks a real threat alongside Toney. A hard-working display 7
