Peterborough United manager Steve Evans has avoided a touchline ban following his red card in Saturday's 1-1 League One draw with Doncaster.

Evans was dismissed by referee Darren Bond after committing two yellow card offences, the second for standing outside his technical area.

Evans has accepted a £1,000 fine. Four yellow cards automatically leads to a touchline ban for technical area occupants this season, but Evans remains on one (from the Charlton game) as two in the same game leads to a separate punishment.

Posh assistant manager Paul Raynor was also sent off on Saturday. He was issued a straight red card for foul and abusive language and served a one-match touchline ban at last night’s Checkatrade Trophy tie at MK Dons.
