Peterborough United are the punters' pick for promotion following blistering start
They’ve attracted a whopping 46% of all bets following their 5-1 thumping of Plymouth at the weekend, with almost half of all punters backing Posh to be promoted.
That’s resulted in bookies slashing odds on them doing so, from 5/1 before the start of the season, into just 9/4 to be playing their football in the Championship next year.

Elsewhere, red-hot striker Jason Cummings is the clear favourite to finish the season as League One top goalscorer, after scoring a brace at the weekend.
He’s been cut from 20/1 rank outsider into 3/1 undisputed favourite to win the individual accolade. Barnsley hitman Kieffer Moore is second favourite at 10/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Despite their rip-roaring start to the season, Peterborough have surprisingly faced the most shots of any EFL club so far with 89.
