Peterborough League clubs can choose when to return after lockdown and see who’s top of the scoring charts in the Peterborough League, Peterborough Sunday Morning League and the Cambs Womens and Girls League

Peterborough & District League teams have been offered a choice of two dates on which to resume their season after lockdown.

The current lockdown period is due to end on December 2 so clubs have been asked to choose between re-starting on December 5 or 12.

December 5 is an optional date, but December 12 is mandatory for clubs in all six divisions.

The top scorer in six divisions of the Peterborough League is Kurt Scott of Division Five title challengers Sutton Bridge United. Her has scored 16 goals in just nine outings.

Next highest scorer is Lee Croft of Division One top dogs Wittering Premiair who has bagged 15 goals in just eight outings - six more goals than any other player in the division.

The three highest goalscorers in Division Four are all Deeping United players. Steve Jucikas (13), NathanSnith (12) and Ryan Ellwood (9) have scored 34 goals between them for the team in second place.

Prolific Annie Posnett has scored 16 goals for Premier Division title challengers Whitlesey Athletic, twice as many as her nearest pursuer in the goal charts, Emily Johnson of Netherton United.
