Deeping Rangers cruised into the semi-finals of the Hinchingbrooke Cup last night (February 9) at the expense of UCL Premier Division rivals Huntingdon.
Rangers won 6-1 after a super first-half showing that saw them open up a 5-0 lead with goals by Will Bird (4 mins), Spencer Tinkler (15 mins), David Burton-Jones (26 mins and 27 mins) and Jezz Goldson-Williams (37 mins).
Gui Mailancol scored a Cromwellians consolation after 42 minutes.
Joe Hood completed the scoring two minutes past the hour.
Stamford were beaten 3-1 at home by Carlton Town in the third round of the Doodson League Cup. Paul Malone scored their equaliser on 50 minutes.
