There could be a cup cracker at PSL tonight as all-conquering Peterborough Sports tackle Godmanchester Rovers in the quarter-finals of the Hinchingbrooke Cup.

Sports are on a 23-match winning streak in all competitions and currently head United Counties Division One by 13 points having won all 20 matches so far.

But Godmanchester play at a level above the city side. They are currently fourth in the top flight of the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League.

Sports have enjoyed a 10-day break since they last played. Godmanchester won 4-1 away from home at the weekend. The winners host United Counties Premier Division side Yaxley in the semi-final.

Stamford AFC are also in cup action tomorrow. The Daniels host Buxton at the Zeeco Stadium in the Doodson Cup, the league cup for Evo Stik League sides. Buxton are currently 11th in the Premier Division, 11 places above Stamford.

Netherton United tackle Whittlesey Athletic in the quarter-final of Peterborough League’s President’s Shield tomorrow (January 27).

The game has been switched from Feldale Field to the 3G surface at the Grange. Current Premier Division leaders Moulton Harrox await the winners.
