Stamford were given a lesson in finishing last night (December 5) as they were sent crashing out of the Evo-Stik League Cup at the second round stage.

The local Division One South side were away at Premier Division Coalville and lost 5-1 after conceding four second-half goals - three in the last 15 minutes.

It was 1-1 at half-time with Bradley Fortnam-Tomlinson having fired the Daniels ahead.

Coalville had just five shots on goal throughout the match whereas Stamford had 12 - nine of them on target.
