Awaydays in the FA Vase for local United Counties Premier Division sides

Peterborough Northern Star have been handed an away tie at United Counties Premier Division rivals Sleaford Town in the FA Vase first round.

Star earned their place in today’s draw (September 17) by beating March Town 1-0 on Saturday.

Fellow UCL Premier Division teams Deeping Rangers and Holbeach United have also been drawn away to Newmarket Town of the Eastern Counties League and Biggleswade United of the South Midlands League respectively.

The ties are scheduled for Saturday, October 13.

Star are in Northants Hillier Cup first round action at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds tomorrow (September 18, 7.45pm) when Yaxley host Huntingdon Town in the first round of the Hunts Senior Cup.
