NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Win for Yaxley, defeat for Holbeach

Yaxley came from behind to win their UCL Premier Division clash 3-1 against Boston Town at In2Itive Park last night (March 1).

Dan Cotton scored twice for Yaxley.

Lori Borbely marked his return from suspension by giving Boston the lead after seven minutes.

Phil Stebbing equalised within a minute and Yaxley then had to wait until the 66th minute before going ahead with a Dan Cotton penalty.

Six minutes later Cotton struck a long range effort to go back to the top of the Premier scorecharts with his 26th goal of the season.

Title outsiders Holbeach were beaten 2-1 at Wellingborough Town.

Recent recruit Deven Ellwood scored his first Wellingborough goal 10 minutes into the game but Holbeach levelled through Jake Clitheroe three minutes before the half-hour mark.

Just four minutes remained when Wellingborough won it through Justin Dowling.
