After four years at the club - they both worked under former manager Paddy Rayment who lefdt the club earlier this season - Ebdon and his assistant Danny Hussey resigned following a 1-1 home draw with Leek Town in the final Evo Stik Division One South game of the season yesterday (April 23).

Ebdon said: “It was our choice to leave. You have to give a job like this 110%. If you can’t give it everything you need to walk away and my young family meant travelling so much was making things difficult for me.

“I’ve had a great four years at the club though.”
