Netherton United Bluejays were really flying on Sunday.

The city lads produced the shock of the day in the Peterborough Youth League when they smashed Under 15 Division Two leaders Spalding United Blue 8-0.

Charlie Matthews led the rout with a couple of goals with the rest coming from Kamil Charzynski, Brandon Magumise, Kieran Taggart, Sam Tawse and Liam Ward.

Second-placed Bourne could have replaced Spalding at the top with a win at Colsterworth but had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

In Division One, Eye maintained their title push with a 3-0 win over Deeping Claret thanks to goals by Harry Catanach, Obabiyi Taiwo and Jamie Scott.

Division Three leaders March Soccer School also hit a winning note - but only just. They pipped Ryhall United Black 4-3 with Kyle Bird claiming a hat-trick.

Thomas Brittain was another player in this division with his shooting boots on. He helped himself to four as Spalding Orange crushed Coates 8-0.

Pinchbeck stormed into the semi-finals of the Under 15 PFA Cup by wallopping Wisbech St Mary Purple 8-0 with goals from Callum Davies (2), Jack Brown, Callum Clark, Lewis Harker, Joshua Lawrence, George Senior and Connor Goodfellow.
