Nine-man city side Parkway Eagles A were crushed 26-0 in a Peterborough League Division Five game last weekend.
The Eagles were downed by new side Harrowby United Reserves who are now top of the table with a goal difference of +41 from just four games.
Harrowby’s presence in such a low division is something of a surprise as their senior side play United Counties League football, a competition that also provides reserve team and under 21 leagues.
Harrowby told Peterborough League officials before they were allowed into the competition they were a team of 17-18 year-olds.
Jason Coverly scored nine of their goals.
