Peterborough League Premier Division side ICA Sports are on the move . . . from Bretton to Huntingdon.
The city club have today (December 15) announced that their first team will be playing home games at Huntingdon Town’s Jubilee Park ground from January 9. They currently play at Ringwood, South Bretton.
A statement on the club website reads:
“ICA Sports FC are pleased to announce they have reached the next milestone in their 2020 Vision.
“From 9th January 2016 our men’s first team will be playing home games at Jubilee Park, Huntingdon, after agreeing a ground-share with Huntingdon Town FC.
“This is a major opportunity for the club, allowing us to pursue promotion from the 2016/17 campaign in line with our 2020 vision of reaching the UCL Premier League for the 2020/21 season.
“The agreement with Huntingdon Town FC also allows us to explore a host of other opportunities in the coming three years to complement our existing activities.
“The long-term plan continues to be the development of ICA Sports Park to become our permanent home, but we are delighted to be able to work alongside Huntingdon Town FC at a fantastic facility until this facility is ready for occupancy.
“We will be announcing more positive news about progress with our 2020 Vision progress very soon.”
