Big city rivals Netherton and Northern Star will clash in the semi-finals of the Under 14 League Cup.
Both cruised through their quarter-final ties on Sunday and will be joined in the last four by Gunthorpe Navy and Glinton & Northborough Amber.
Netherton certainly had the most difficult of quarter-final ties - away at King’s Lynn - but a Bradley Gilbert hat-trick steered them to a 5-2 win.
Northern Star beat Wisbech St Mary 6-1 and Zachariah Findley was again among the goals. He got two with the others coming from Phillip Creasey, Cameron Long, William Palmer and Ashton Bennett-Williams.
Gunthorpe Navy, still unbeaten this season, knocked out Blackstones 5-2 with Glinton & Northborough Amber beating March Rangers 6-0.
In Under 12 Division One, One Touch have suddenly lost their touch.
The league leaders suffered a shock 4-1 defeat at home to Holbeach and it came hot on the heels of a first reverse of the season against Stamford.
The Holbeach goalscoring heroes were Charlie Jackson, Thomas Hill, Kye Bunce and Jack Greenacre.
One Touch now lead the way by just a point from Baston, who were 4-1 winners at Stamford thanks to goals by Adam Blackbird (2), Joshua Ford and Samuel Harris.
The top two in Under 12 Division Two - Whittlesey Blue and Glinton & Northborough Amber - both hit teams for six.
Table-toppers Whittlesey hammered Hampton Blue 6-0 with Joe Scott bagging a brace while Glinton & Northborough had to work a bit harder to see off Oundle 6-4 with Jospeh Sandel claiming a hat-trick.
There’s no change at the top of Under 13 Division One as pacesetters Alconbury and second-placed Hampton Blue won with ease.
Alconbury maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-1 victory at Yaxley and Harrison Radwell’s double strike took his goal tally for the season to an impressive 36.
Hampton Blue beat stablemates Hampton Royal 6-1 with Luke Scampion leading the way with a pair.
Emmanuel Ochube came off the bench to spearhead a brilliant fightback by Netherton Phoenix in Under 13 Division Two.
Phoenix trailed Blackstones 3-1 at the break but then on came hot-shot Ochube and he blasted a treble to see Phoenix home 4-3 and keep them second in the table.
Biggest winners in the league on Sunday were Under 13 Division Three leaders Park Farm Red.
They stunned Stanground 15-2 and Callum McAuley topped the scoresheet with five. Liam Nightingale and Riley Deadman both hit hat-tricks and Joseph Humphries and Joshua Hinton score two apiece.
Park Farm Black are also going well in Under 13 Division Four. A Gediminas Kozik treble helped them to a 5-1 win against Netherton Hawks and they now have a six-point lead at the top.
