An impressive £6,850 was raised for Sue Ryder at the Posh Legends charity match at the ABAX Stadium on Sunday.
‘King’ Ken Charlery, Grant McCann, Mark Tyler, Marcus Ebdon, Jack Collison, Ryan Semple, and Dave Farrell were among the Posh stars who took part alongside fans who had paid for the privilege in an event organised by club shirt sponsors Mick George Limited.

The two-hour match finished 17-10 as defences entered the charitable mood. Charlery re-lived his glory days by popping a goal in from 40 yards.

“Together everyone has helped to raise enough money to fund over 480 hours of incredible care for our patients.”
