Five players scored hat-tricks as One Touch Under 11s enjoyed a goal-den Sunday in the Junior Alliance League Cup.

The Division One leaders walloped Division Two basement boys Woodston 21-0 with Thomas Czamota, Joshua Ford, Rhys Holmes, Ethan Young and Keelan Walker all helping themselves to trebles.

Completing the rout were Adam Blackbird (2), Bailey Coe, Matthew Betts and Lewis Duncan (2).

In another Division One v Division Two tie, Deeping Blue enjoyed an 11-1 win over Oundle.

Leading their goal-rush with hat-tricks were Shane Bointon and Archie Rickards with the rest of the goals coming from Harry Barsby (2), Alfie Fox, Henry Rook and Samuel Browning.

Biggest upset of the round saw Division Two sideGunthorpe knock out Division One opponents Thurlby 2-0 thanks to goals by Adam Mathieson and Samuel Miller.

There was also an upset in the Under 13 Hereward Cup. That came at Division Three March Soccer School Blue as they went down 3-2 to Glinton & Northbroough Amber from Division Four.

On target for Glinton were Sideny O’Connell, Joseph Sandel and Jamie Crowson.

Also through to the next round of the Hereward Cup from Division Four are Yaxley, Tydd St Mary and Leverington.

Yaxley beat Park Farm Red 14-0 thanks to goals by Arda Baki (4), Sebastian Cantone (3), William Guy (3), Spencer Sistrom (3) and Daniel Hudson while Tydd were 6-3 winners over Spalding.

Reily Tegerdine scored four times as Division Four table-toppers Leveington beat March Soccer School Red 6-1.

It was also League Cup weekend in the Under 13 age group.

Hampton, who won the Uner 12 League Cup last season as Powerleague Green, beat second division Whittlesey 8-1 but it wasn’t as one-sided as the scoreline might suggest.

In fact Whittlesey produced some quality football on a muddy pitch in the first half and Hampton were only 2-1 up at the break.

But in the second half Hampton turned on the style with Zachariah Findley grabbing a hat-trick.

Gunthorpe Navy were the biggest winners of the round.

The Division One lads saw off Riverside from Division Three 11-1 with goals by Harry Howarth (2), Harrison Skinner (2), Thomas Game (2), Sebastian Britton, Callum Ford, Oluwatomi Ogunyoye, Andzej Smirnov and Peter James.

Glinton & Northborough Amber haven’t won a game in Division One this season but reached the quarter-finals of the League Cup by beating Division Two side Blackstones 6-3. Christopher Seery scored a hat-tick for them with Henry Staig, Owen Thomas and Lewis Harrison also on target.

In the league meanwhile, there was a first Under 13 Division Three win of the season for Gunthorpe Sky.

They beat Oundle 6-2 with Kyle Clarke slamming a hat-trick.
