It’s not just the Peterborough Sports first team who’ve made an impressive start to the season . . . their Under 16s aren’t doing too bad either.

The youngsters made it two wins out of two in Division One of the Peterborough Youth League by beating a strong Eye United side 3-1.

Aaron Branch scored two of their goals with substitute Aidan Sewell grabbing the other.

In Under 16 Division Two, Netheron Bluejays are flying high.

They’re perched at the top of the table after an 8-1 win against Stanground Sports in which Brendon Mwatsenekenyi smashed a hat-trick.

Under 16 Division Three leaders are Hungate, who walloped Whittlesey 11-0 on Sunday with Samuel Hale finding the back of the net four times.

It was a mixed day for Northern Star at Under 15 level.

Northern Star Blue beat Stamford 8-1 in Division One but Northern Star Red lost 10-0 to Feeder Soccer in Division Two.

Substitute Oluwasegun Okunrinboye scored a hat-trick for the Blue boys while Feeder’s Joshua George helped himself to a treble against the Star Red team.
