All 28 members of the thriving Club GK goalkeeping school, based at the William Law School in Werrington, were rewarded for their efforts at their annual end-of-season presentations at the weekend.
Darren Gibbons, who runs the school, said: “No way could I pick an overall winner as everyone has done brilliantly this year. So they all got a trophy.”
Four keepers from the school are currently with the Peterborough United Academy - Dylan Martin (Under 12), Ronnie Jeeves (Under 11), Gianluca D’Amore (Under 9) and Jake West (Under 9).
James Laud was with the Posh Under 8 squad but has chosen to play rugbyinstead of becoming next season’s new Under 9 Academy keeper.
Others from the school doing well are Charley Darby (Leicester City Under 11 Elite squad), Thomas Hughes (King’s Lynn Under 12 Elite squad) and Ella Hampton (Millwall Lionesses).
