LOCAL FOOTBALL: More for Oliver as Moulton go further ahead at the top

Oliver Maltby bagged his 33rd goal of the Peterborough Premier Division last night (March 29) as Moulton Harrox stormed 15 points clear at the top of the table.

Harrox won 4-0 at AFC Stanground to make it 23 wins from 24 games played for the unbeaten leaders who have just nine to-flight games to go.

Benjamin Allen, Joe Townsend and Matthew Watkin also scored for Harrox who host second-placed Peterborough Sports Reserves this Saturday (April 2).

Maltby is top of the Premier Division scoring charts. He’s eight goals clear of team-mate Townsend and Netherton’s Tom Randall. Randall has scored hat-tricks in each of his last three appearances.

Fourth-placed Pinchbeck United are in action at Deeping Rangers Reserves tonight (March 30, 7.30pm kick off).

Stamford AFC have a big game tonight in their battle against relegation from the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division. The Daniels are five points from safety with just seven games to go so need something from their trip to seventh-placed Barwell.
