After wins against Bristol Rovers and Millwall, Posh are looking for a hattrick and to close the three-point gap to Reading in 21st place.

Coventry come into the game struggling for league form, having not won any of their last six but the in-form Matt Godden will lead the line for Mark Robins’ side.

Coventry have found another gear. Hamer, who is a specialist from outside of the box Posh ought to know about, nearly scores a sensational third. From a corner that is headed out, he curls an effort from the left 30 yards out. It flashes by the post by the barest of margins.

Cornell forced into action this time, Shipley cuts in from the left and fires a shot at the near post, Cornell up well to save.

Wow, Coventry have hit the post. It was a good ball in from Kane to O’Hare, who slid into to make contact, Cornell couldn't react and it comes off the outside of the post. Let-off.

Long spell on the ball for Posh, being patient and waiting for the space to open up. A few Coventry players looking tired, particularly Clarke-Salter. A few too many loose passes though.

End-toend now. O’Hare pounces on a Knight miscontrol and forces Cornell into a good low save. Posh fans beginning to sense there’s something to be had here.

Grant lets fly from range, clearly full of confidence, just wide of the post this time from the same range he scored from.

Dembele with a silly foul midway into the Coventry half. Ball in from Shipley on the free-kick all the way to the backpost, its picked up but Posh are lucky it’s misconnected and doesn’t go across the face. Poor marking.

Important Posh were able to get in at only one behind.

Coventry are very impressive to watch, they are not giving Posh any time on the ball, particularly at the back. When Posh have been able to beat the press, there is space and they have actually been ok on the ball when having done so . There is chances for Posh to score, they just need to hang in as Coventry could have had more.

I wouldn’t mind Posh finally turning the tables and beating Coventry from 2 down..
