LAST NIGHT'S FOOTBALL: Wisbech win a cup final

Wisbech Town got their hands on some silverware last night (August 24) when winning the Cambs Invitation Cup.

The final at Newmarket Town, which was held over from last season, was against Cambridge City and the Fenmen ran out handsome 4-1 winners.

Billy Smith set the ball rolling with a goal on 20 minutes and further strikers were added by Harry Limb, Michael Frew and Luke Wilson.

In United Counties League Division One, Blackstones are still searching for thewir first win. They lost 3-2 at home to Thrapston last night.
